The truth of the matter is that I listen to a very narrow path of music, and rarely anything new. But, I do find it interesting that of the music that I still listen to and rank near the top my (arbitrary) list of the best of my lifetime was released within about a month’s time: Cypress Hill, Ten, Travelers and Thieves, Nevermind, and Blood Sugar Sex Magik were all released between Aug. 13 and Sept. 24, 1991.
